We highly encourage all providers to connect with therapy-seekers via secure messaging rather than email, for three reasons:

  1. The messaging tool offers greater security for client information, as no PHI is sent via email.
  2. Messaging gives you the ability to directly connect with clients without exposing your personal contact information (email or phone number). 
  3. If a client misses a message from you, they will receive an "unread message" notification 24 hours after it was sent, to increase the likelihood that you ultimately connect!
