We highly encourage all providers to connect with therapy-seekers via secure messaging rather than email, for three reasons:
- The messaging tool offers greater security for client information, as no PHI is sent via email.
- Messaging gives you the ability to directly connect with clients without exposing your personal contact information (email or phone number).
- If a client misses a message from you, they will receive an "unread message" notification 24 hours after it was sent, to increase the likelihood that you ultimately connect!
